Advanced Biotechnology--Food Science
For students entering 10th or 11th grade in Fall 2019 with at least 1 year in a biotech lab program or any Biotech Bootcamp alumni. You must have prior experience using a micro pipette, doing PCR and loading and running gels.
Do your favorite foods containg GMOs? Is your lettuce contaminated with bacteria? Learn about geneetically modified organisms, while conducting PCR and immunoassays used in actual food science labs.
This advanced camp is designed for students who may have participated last year, or who participated in the first week of this year's camp.
